Theme region

Themes provide theme regions such as "header", "primary sidebar", "content", and "footer". Site builders place blocks of content inside those regions and configure under which conditions they should be shown. The "header" region typically contains a site's name and logo; a "sidebar" region might contain a navigation menu, and the footer likely contains links, partner logos, and copyright information.
